The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This book has such a feel good, women empowerment vibe. It was our very first book we read for our yin yoga book club.

We loved Evelyn Hugo, she embodied the perfect female main character, and truly stuck to her guns the entire book. Evelyn’s life was nothing but imperfectly perfect. She truly overcame struggles that women deal with now in the 2024 but imagine the struggle in 50s and so on.

Monique was a fill in character for me until the very end where the twist formally made sense to me as to how she connected with all of this and Evelyn . The ending truly was a sad one but made the story so captivating.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars. Our entire yoga group enjoyed the read as well.
