The Writing Retreat by Julia Bartz

The Writing Retreat. Good until it wasn’t? This book was just really strange. A group of women are hand selected by a famous author to go on a writing retreat. During their time on the retreat, everyone starts to go missing. This book involved art of drugs, daydreams, and overall peculiar scenes.

The audiobook was actually good, the accents made the book more realistic which was nice. But the ending once again, just kind of fell off for us. We had questions and the ending didn’t give us closure and justice that the main character truly deserved!
